As the Director of Communications and Marketing, Hannah manages all of the OEC’s external communications, provides strategic leadership on campaigns and digital organizing, and helps inform and connect Ohioans to the environmental issues that affect their daily lives. Hannah is an expert in digital fundraising and organizing, and holds relationships with media and communications professionals across the state. Hannah graduated with her master’s of public administration as a University Fellow from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs where she studied nonprofit management. She has worked with nonprofit and public sector organizations like Voices for Ohio’s Children, the Ohio School Based Health Care Association, the Council on American Islamic Relations, Hunger Hub, the Ohio House Democratic Caucus, and eTech Ohio, to strengthen their brand and utilization of emerging media outlets. She has spearheaded innovative approaches to advocacy work, including online advocacy days, nationwide video chat community forums, and social media fundraising.
