Cleaner Vehicles

There are several choices of cleaner vehicles for an individual, family, or fleet for institutions such as hospitals and cities. Electric vehicles, hybrids, alternative fuels, emission controls, repower, and replacements all have many benefits.

Vehicles with traditional internal engines contribute hundreds of thousands of tons of pollution into our air every year. Cleaner vehicles pollute less, and do not contribute as much to ozone and soot pollution.

Electric and hybrid vehicles are an excellent choice for consumers - both individuals and families. Electric vehicles (EVs) are operated by an electric motor powered by rechargeable battery v-packs.

Compared to internal combustion engines, EVs emit no tailpipe pollutants, are energy efficient, and reduce energy dependence on foreign oil. Coupled with solar or wind energy, EVs has virtually no greenhouse gas emissions.

As the U.S. EPA moves to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from coal-fired power plants, EVs will continue to save money, lower greenhouse emissions, and improve air quality.
