Kristy Meyer has more than 15 years of experience advocating for clean water, safe foods, sustainable agriculture, healthy lands, and public health protections. As the managing director of the OEC's Natural Resources Program, Kristy directs OEC's campaigns and initiatives for stronger safeguards for Ohio's waterways and establishing protections for Ohio's public forests. Kristy also is a Governance Board Member of the Healing Our Waters - Great Lakes Coalition.
Kristy has a B.S. in Environmental Biology and Business Administration from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio. She earned a M.S. from James Cook University in Queensland, Australia, where she worked with Aboriginals on Natural Resource Management Issues and formed a "Greening Strategy" for all of Northern Australia, including Papua New Guinea.
