As the Vice President of Public Affairs of the Ohio Environmental Council, Aryeh leads advocacy programs to build a powerful, grassroots environmental movement in Ohio. Previously, he served in the national political department at the Service Employee International Union where the focus of his work centered on developing and executing electoral, community base building, union, and social justice campaigns in states and municipalities across the country. Prior to this, Aryeh led the then-newly formed organizing department at OCSEA/AFSCME Local 11 as its organizing director and has held senior staff positions on numerous candidate and issue campaigns in Ohio and across the country. In addition to his work at the OEC, Aryeh is an elected township trustee in Franklin Township, and he serves as President of the Friends of Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks, where he works to expand park access to underserved communities, creating an opportunity for individuals to experience nature for the first time, and expanding park access to all.
Aryeh is also the director of the OEC Action Fund.
