Overview:
Clean Fuels Ohio is looking for a talented, energetic self-starter and team member to serve as the
Business Development and Communications Manager, spearheading member and sponsor
development, as well managing CFO communication to external audiences, including members,
sponsors, event attendees, and the general public through the Clean Fuels Ohio Newsletter,
website, and social media.

About Clean Fuels Ohio:
Clean Fuels Ohio is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to making Ohio a cleaner, healthier
and more prosperous state. In addition to partnering with organizations to implement advanced fuel
solutions and vehicle technologies, we are helping to build a statewide fueling and charging
infrastructure that supports these efforts. We also collaborate with partners in the transportation
industry and local, state and federal government to promote the use of advanced fuels and clean
vehicle technologies and to reduce barriers in order to create and maintain a level playing field for
our members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) and related experience required. Must have excellent written and
verbal communication abilities and superior organizational, computer, and planning skills. Design
skills including digital collateral and marketing materials, as well as website content generation
preferred. Experience with sales and marketing, as well as managing relationships with customers
and developing new clients. Experience related to transportation energy, environmental
sustainability, and non-profit programming is helpful.

Job Responsibilities Include:
Membership Program Management
– Business Development: Manage and lead execution of CFO’s membership program in
order to grow revenue; retain existing members and recruit new members and sponsor
prospects to meet annual revenue goals.
– Communications: With support and input from CFO program staff, manage member
communication through various communication channels including the newsletter, website,
social media and incorporate earned media where relevant.
Sponsorship Program Management
– Business Development: Manage and lead execution of CFO’s sponsorship fundraising in
order to grow revenue; manage sponsorship efforts, with support of CFO staff, for key events
including Midwest Green Transportation Forum, Annual Lobby Day and occasional special
events.
– Communications: With support and input from CFO program staff, manage sponsor
communication through various communication channels including the newsletter, website,
social media and incorporate earned media where relevant.
Member and Sponsor Benefit and Relationship Management
– Manage the development, logistics and execution of member and sponsor events;
specifically, the Midwest Green Transportation Forum and occasional smaller, member
events to ensure delivery of promised member benefits.
– Manage processes and procedures to facilitate relationships with partners and members to
ensure value expectations are accomplished
– Market and promote member and sponsored events in coordination with CFO staff and
external partners to ensure delivery of promised membership and sponsor connection
benefits.
– Manage member and sponsor evaluations and feedback for continuous service and
improvement.
