“I’d like to offer sincere thanks to Senators Sherrod Brown and Rob Portman for working together to ensure the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative will be fully funded. This vital program helps to keep farm fields green and Lake Erie clean by providing necessary funds to farmers to put best management practices in place on farm fields.
“Senators Brown, Portman and Representatives David Joyce, Marcy Kaptur, and Tim Ryan deserve to be commended for working bipartisanly to protect the more than $14 billion economy and nearly 3 million Ohioans that depend on a healthy Lake Erie for their quality of life.”
