Briones Bedell

Membership Engagement Manager

As Membership Engagement Manager at the OEC, Briones Bedell seeks to steward, engage, and expand the membership base for Ohio’s environmental movement. She is committed to involving everyday people in the crucial process of securing healthy land, air, and water, and aims to translate climate doomsday-ism into optimistic, sustainable action. A Bay Area native, Briones previously worked at Lindsay Wildlife Experience, communicating the importance of wildlife conservation and environmental education through her various animal keeping, volunteer management, and fundraising roles. Briones has worked to effectively raise funds and create innovative communications for nonprofits of varying sizes and subject areas, but has found that her most passionate and engaging work involves environmental causes. Briones is finishing a Bachelors of Science in Communications at Franklin University. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the natural spaces of Southeast Ohio and discovering the wildlife which calls it home.
