The OEC Emerging Leaders program connects young people (18-40 years old) from diverse backgrounds to environmental issues close to home and across the globe. By engaging and educating members from all experience levels, we empower each other to take action and become the next generation of environmental champions through education, advocacy, and networking.
During this 6-month long leadership training program, cohort members learn and put into practice skills in environmental advocacy, collaboration, communications, and fundraising. Applications for the 2023 Emerging Leaders Council are now closed, but please be sure to join our mailing list below to receive application information in early 2024.
Join fellow environmentalists for educational panels, discussions, outdoor activities, happy hours, service projects, advocacy, and more. Have fun meeting and feel inspired as you meet peers with a passion for progress on the environment and climate change!
