The Ohio Environmental Council seeks a full-time Events Coordinator to produce and lead a range of high quality, mission-focused events from small meetings to a 500-person gala. This new position will increase the strength of the OEC through educating key audiences, fundraising, motivating decision-makers, and raising the profile of the organization.

Job Responsibilities
The Events Coordinator reports to the Deputy Director and is responsible for the following:
Performance Expectations
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, critical thinker, who is adept at working independently in a fast-paced culture. They will be adaptable, willing to learn quickly, and take on new challenges.
They will know how to design audience-focused events within a budget. They must work well with vendors, staff, and volunteers.
The Events Coordinator must:
Plan and meet multiple deadlines on an independent basis. Take initiative, be a team player, and be proactive. Successfully manage projects and tasks on a rolling basis. Work quickly and efficiently, while continuously prioritizing necessary tasks. Maintain a level of personal organization that allows for maximum efficiency and represents the organization well. Convey a professional and positive image of the organization in all interactions.

Compensation
