Monday May 27th would have been environmentalist and author Rachel Carson’s 112th’s birthday. Carson was a tireless environmental advocate who spoke out about the dangers of chemicals such as DDT to living organisms and is credited for helping spark the modern environmental movement through her book Silent Spring. We are thankful for heroes like Rachel Carson who helped lay the foundation for our work to protect the Earth for all!
