Columbus, Ohio — The following statement can be attributed in full, or in part, to Peter Bucher, Water Resources Director at the Ohio Environmental Council:
“We maintain hope that the path forward results in an open, collaborative process, where all stakeholders can make a long-term plan for Lake Erie so future executive action is not needed and we solve this problem as a win-win for everyone.
“Time is of the essence. Each year we wait to fix Lake Erie, the problem gets more expensive and more time-intensive to fight. Let’s all sit down together and get the job done.”
