Max Schaefer is the Northeast Ohio Regional Coordinator for the Ohio Environmental Council. He works on the shores of Lake Erie in the city of Lorain. He is the voice for the OEC in this section of our state; meeting with public servants, community leaders, and faith-based communities to discuss the importance of a clean, healthy, and prosperous Ohio. He is committed to ensuring the voices of those across Northeast Ohio are heard when it comes to environmental issues and policies.
Max is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College, where he received his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in History. He is proud to be an active leader in his community through his position on the Board of Directors at El Centro de Servicios Sociales, Inc. and in his position as the city of Lorain’s representative on the Lorain County Board of Health.
