Ohio Environmental Council
Since our founding in 1969, the OEC has been working toward clean air, water, and land for all Ohioans and we are excited to celebrate all year long with you! Follow the OEC journey from the first spark of the Cuyahoga River Fire in 1969, to reforming hazardous waste policies in the 70s and 80s, to establishing the Ohio Environmental Law Center in the early 2000s, to just last year when we saved an urban park from development — and everything in between!
In our golden year, we want to put the focus on YOU. Because of the commitment of our donors, action-takers, volunteers, and alumni, we have been able to accomplish some incredible feats to protect our health, our communities, and our environment. So, thank you and here’s to 50 more years of action!
