As the Public Lands Director for the Ohio Environmental Council, Nathan advocates for the protection and preservation of special places in our public forests and parks. A firm believer in the maxim that “health and happiness start in the great outdoors,” Nathan works to expand public access to outdoor recreation, and to secure healthy and inspiring natural landscapes. An Ohio-licensed attorney, Nathan received his J.D. from The University of Virginia School of Law and a dual-B.A. in History and Philosophy from Denison University.
