Ohio is a water-rich state, but our access to clean, safe, affordable water cannot be taken for granted. Climate change, industrial pollution, and growing development pressures threaten Ohio water bodies and, ultimately, our drinking water. Recent rollbacks in federal and state protections have exacerbated these threats by undercutting water protections.
OEC’s Water Program works to ensure all Ohioans have access to a clean Lake Erie, healthy water bodies, and safe, affordable drinking water.
