Working together for a clean, healthy Ohio
1378 Darby Creek Drive in Galloway, Ohio
Join the Ohio Environmental Council and our Darby Creek partners for an OEC meetup event at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park! We will begin this event at a unique Wet Prairie restoration site (1378 Darby Creek Drive in Galloway, Ohio), followed by meeting up at the Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park Center (1775 Darby Creek Drive, Galloway, Ohio) for a walk down to the Darby Creek. We will end with time to connect and chat at the Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park Center. Please note that the event will start at the Wet Prairie and attendees will drive to the Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park Center following the Wet Prairie tour. This event is free and open to all.
We’re excited to partner with Metro Parks on this event and to give you chance to learn more about the importance of their work, including how we’re working together to protect the Big and Little Darby Creeks in Central Ohio. We hope you can join to celebrate what’s possible when we work together and foster connection for our common good.

About OEC’s Central Ohio Regional Program
Home to our state capital and natural treasures like Big and Little Darby Creeks, Central Ohio is one of the most influential and rapidly growing regions in the state. The Ohio Environmental Council has had a continuous presence in this region of the state throughout our 55-year history. In addition to our work at the Statehouse, we’ve supported local action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, expand renewable energy generation, enhance greenspace and tree canopy, protect water quality, and more. As Central Ohio continues to grow, balancing development with environmental stewardship is critical to ensuring a healthy ecosystem for current and future generations.
