OEC Statement on the Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund Shared Services Agreement

Statement from OEC CEO Carol Kauffman and Board Chair Jennifer Sconyers:

“As of today, May 17, 2026, The Ohio Environmental Council has taken the step to dissolve its shared services agreement with the OEC Action Fund, effective in 30 days. This reflects a recognition that the organizations are no longer aligned on a path forward that best supports our collective work.

“This decision is not made lightly and follows a thoughtful and collaborative assessment. We remain committed to our 57-year history and vision of a clean, healthy Ohio where our democracy empowers all communities to thrive in harmony with the environment.”
